FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
At Valor Restoration, we use standardized industry pricing through Xactimate, which is the same estimating software used by insurance companies. This ensures our pricing is fair, consistent, and transparent. We do not charge upfront fees for emergency response, and most insurance-covered water losses can be billed directly to your insurance provider. If the project is not going through insurance, we provide clear written estimates before any work begins.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First, we complete an on-site assessment to identify the cause and extent of the damage. We document everything with photos, moisture readings, and sketches. Then we discuss the recommended plan of action and answer any questions. Once approved, we begin mitigation immediately to prevent further damage. Throughout the project, we keep you informed and provide all documentation needed for insurance claims
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our team is trained and certified under the IICRC (Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification) in Water Damage Restoration and Structural Drying. We also have hands-on experience dealing with everything from minor leaks to full home floods, mold remediation, and odor control. We follow industry standards to ensure your property is restored safely and correctly.
