Dollar for dollar, hiring The Band Sundance was the best decision we made in our wedding budget. The band gave us a great experience from beginning to end. We had numerous guests say we had the best or one of the best receptions they have ever attended because of the music and our dancing (obviously aided by the music). They kept asking where I found them and how much I must have paid to book them. As great as the band was, they did not detract from us as a couple. Jim and the band planned everything to cater to us. They provided a DJ for the breaks, and a few songs we wanted outside of their repertoire were played on break. They even let me sit in for a song. I found them through this site, and did a lot of other research on them before booking. We wanted a band who could provide the 1940s big band sound for swing dancing and also play contemporary rock, pop, and country with everything in between (50s, Elvis, 80s, polkas, waltzes, etc.). Moreover, we wanted a band who played both “In the Mood”and “Uptown Funk” well. Hard to find, huh? Well, here they are. They read the crowd well and knew what songs to play to keep people excited and on the dance floor. They have a full sound with keyboards, drum set, lead guitar, bass guitar, trumpet, sax, and vocals, and they blended very well as a ensemble. They helped give our reception such an amazing energy. This praise might seem effusive from anyone who has not seen them, but you cannot go wrong with these guys.

The Sundance band was absolutely incredible!! They went far beyond my expectations and had the dance floor up all night!! They are so fun, professional, and just fantastic!! Will work with them again the next opportunity I can!!

We truly loved having The Band Sundance play our wedding. They kept the party going the entire evening and night and played songs that so many could enjoy. If you are looking for an excellent band and have an invite list of really fun people, then know they will not disappoint. Our family and friends asked us to do it again the following weekend because they had so much fun. Thanks Sundance!!

We hired The Band Sundance for our wedding in July at Danada House after my mom recommended them and they were a huge hit! Jim, the band leader, was a pleasure to work with and very responsive. Love that his wife and son are also band members. They really went the extra mile to make our night special by learning a few new songs, letting us karaoke, play the tambourine and cow bell, and getting our guests up and dancing. Jim’s wife, Angela, also videotaped our guests and the band, which was so fun to watch back. I also really enjoyed that they let us make a playlist to be played during dinner and were able to play some songs live, but also played requested songs that we wanted the originals of. We’ve seen them a few times outside of our wedding and they always sound great!

Extensive pre event planning. We discuss in advance all of your needs and wants of your musical selections to create the perfect performance. We stay in contact with you to update you on the latest songs and trends in music.

All of the members of Sundance have degrees in music and have been working together as a band for 20 years. We have performed for over 1800 brides.
