Suzanne was amazing to work with for my wedding dress alterations. I was able to complete them in the comfort of my home with a true professional. She was honest and the value was phenomenal. She was timely and open to all communication and answered even my silliest of questions. As a bride close to my wedding day, anxious is a primary feeling, but when it came to my dress, I never felt that at all with Suzanne. Would highly recommend.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our alteration prices are itemized. You will only pay for what you need. Custom design gowns start at $1500
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When ordering a custom designed gown I meet 1:1 with my customer for a consultation. We collaborate on the design and a sketch is presented for approval. Swatches are available for fabric approval. Price is quoted. Alteration customers - 3 - 5 fittings depending on the type of alterations needed. First fitting gown is pinned, second fitting is a try on and additional pinning might be needed or adjustments. Usually a third fitting is a final or a drop off/pick up.

Bachelors in Fine Arts in fashion design Over 30 years experience in sewing and tailoring Opened my business in 1998 Retail alteration experience in several bridal stores in the Chicago area
