TOTAL SCAM 11/19/24 signed a contract with Victoria and made a retainer payment of $1,075 each ($2,150 total) 11/21/24 I had a brief phone conversation with her as I was leaving town. She assured me that she would maintain communication with my ex during my absence and by the time I return she will have a “game plan”. To my surprise I didn’t hear from her for 2 weeks. In 2 weeks, she hasn’t bothered to contact either one of us. TOTAL MIA 12/04/24 I reached out with an email asking for a refund. To which she responded “I was out of town,” although she had not previously mentioned her travel plans or her inability to work on my case. Nevertheless, she did not make any progress on my case for a total of 3 WEEKS!!! which is a significant concern for me regarding her professionalism and transparency. We exchanged multiple emails, wherein I was formally requesting updates and documentation from her. However, she was evasive and failed to provide clear answers to my inquiries. I submitted total of 3 written requests for a refund, citing her failure to initiate work on our case and her subsequent neglect. Victoria finally agreed to “close” my case on 12/10/24 and we received an email promising a refund within 72 hours. 16 DAYS LATER- no invoice, no money! Finally, after ANOTHER email on 12/26/24 requesting my payment, we each received a refund of $687.50. The kicker is that a super brief email chain, where she claimed she couldn’t work on my case because she was out of town, ended up costing us a whopping $775.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Initial 10-15 min phone interview, followed by 45 min complementary introductory session (in person or virtual via Zoom). Once both parties are in agreement to retain my services we begin the process. I offer individual and joint sessions.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a Certified Divorce Mediator and Certified Divorce Financial Advisor. Over 20 years of experiance in the financial field. I received my Bachelors degree from University of Illinois and further certifications and training and post-bachelor at Northwestern University. Currently working on completing my Masters degree in Conflict Resolution.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have a first hand experience with the Divorce process and wanted to contribute to others to find a better and more holistic approach.
