The biggest factor in THRIVING through my divorce was stumbling upon Victoria Sushan and The Art of Living almost two years ago. In the newly shocked stage of realizing that my marriage was not only over but had happened so suddenly I was in a daze. I knew that I would not be a victim and would not shrivel up and die. I started to look for support groups but wasnt going to sit around a whine with a group of strangers. The Art of Living seminar on Taking Financial Control of your Divorce was the single most powerful thing I did in my divorce. I learned how much I didn't know about the process and was able to decide on a strategy for moving forward. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Initial 10-15 min phone interview, followed by 45 min complementary introductory session (in person or virtual via Zoom). Once both parties are in agreement to retain my services we begin the process. I offer individual and joint sessions.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a Certified Divorce Mediator and Certified Divorce Financial Advisor. Over 20 years of experiance in the financial field. I received my Bachelors degree from University of Illinois and further certifications and training and post-bachelor at Northwestern University. Currently working on completing my Masters degree in Conflict Resolution.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have a first hand experience with the Divorce process and wanted to contribute to others to find a better and more holistic approach.
