I hired T.S. for a one-time heavy deep clean to clear paths and take out trash before a pet sitter arrived. My communication of my needs beforehand was very clear, and they agreed to help me on short notice. The positive is that he did the bulk of the heavy lifting, hauled massive amounts of trash down my stairs, and cleared out a very challenging refrigerator, which provided me with a decent start and reduced my stress level. However, housecleaning is definitely not his strong suit yet. He arrived an hour late by himself and lacked the appropriate residential cleaning supplies. He missed several agreed-upon items; he did not empty my kitchen garbage can, completely threw away my actual bathroom garbage can by mistake, and left obvious trash sitting right on the counters/table. He also skipped the maggot-filled (gross, I know) crockpot and an old Brita filter we had discussed. Most importantly, my back door was left completely unlatched when he exited, which was a major safety concern for my pets and my home. The silver lining is that the heavy path-clearing was mostly completed for a fair price, but if you need an efficient, detailed, and thorough home clean, he may not be a top choice until this part of his skill set improves. Overall, the help was truly appreciated and gave me the kick start I drastically needed. Thank you.
