Trans and LGBTQ friendly! Yay! You're engaged! Now what? Should you start by picking a date or maybe begin putting together a guest list so you know what day everyone can make it? Or maybe you should book a venue? Wait, what's a venue?! If you happen to be feeling just the tiniest bit overwhelmed, don't worry, its okay. Weddings ARE stressful. There's a bunch of tiny (and not so tiny) moving parts that must be put in place if you want things to go perfectly. And who doesn't want things to go perfectly on whats supposed to be the most perfect day of their life? Thinking of all the things that can go amiss are enough to drive any sane couple off the precipice of wedding nightmares. But fear not! With a bit of luck and lots of guidance, weddings can be every bit as magical and lovely as you've ever hoped. That's where I come in. I knew i wanted to be an event planner from the moment I joined the homecoming committee in 10th grade. I live for the execution of all the properly placed components. Carson took care of the 'Day-of' coordination for us back in January. We had a lot of moving parts and she made sure everything went when and how it was supposed to. She helped bring our visions together to create something entirely new which was hard since neither of us is really good at compromising. Shes so budget friendly and extremely under-priced for the area. At first I thought the price was too good to be true and that we would end up with a tacky banquet hall wedding. But once I met her I knew she was the one. Friendly and very open to all our ideas. The decor was gorgeous and very rustic chic which is what we were going for. My husband jokes that Carson saved my sanity and our marriage. Haja! We had no idea how stressful the last few weeks were going to be and by the time Carson came in, we were going crazy. Awesome experience working with OLE. Called her in to plan a chic modern but intimate wedding reception for me, my now hubby and about 50 of our closest friends. My only requirement? It needed to be in the middle of the city in a beautiful loft setting. So she ended up showing us 'The Greenhouse loft'and it was love at first sight. She coordinated all my vendors and had my mother raving about all the gorgeous centerpieces. Honestly, Carson worth her weight in gold and I feel hiring her was the key to the stress free wedding of our dreams.

Ahh-mazing! Really that's all I can say. Shes organized and knowledgeable in her field without the snobby old bag attitude that so many planners have. I interviewed 8 planners looking for someone who would stand out and make me feel like they totally knew what I wanted. Carsons like that cool, calm and collected older sister who you can trust on to keep things going while also being the fun and outgoing sister who yells you you can never dream to big. Yes I'm an only child but if I had sisters I know they would be like that. Lol. My Cinderella themed wedding was a total hit and all my friends can't wait till it's their turn. #ididitfirst

"My sons X-men themed birthday party turned out awesome! At first me and the hubs were going to do all the planning ourselves but one trip to party city and we knew that a) we didn't want a generic party that all other kids would have and b) that we might just be a bit over our heads. At first I wondered if it was worth the extra $$$ but once we spoke and she started sending me awesome DIY ideas that would save us the cash , we were sold. Especially when she said she would make them herself. At the end, our custom party cost the same as the store ready one but we didn't have to do anything. Win- Win if you ask me!"
