Ansel Adams said: "you don't take a photograph, you make it." Anyone can take a picture but, I believe, like Mr. Adams what makes a photograph stand apart from the rest is the person who takes time and effort to create an image out of the scene in front of him/her. Photography is simply the art of using a machine (camera) to capture light bouncing off of an object. It sounds basic but there are rules and tools that make it all work. All of which take time and effort to learn how to master. I don't believe I have arrived or that anyone can. The best photographers choose to make photography their lifelong pursuit and that is what makes their work stand out. I am an eternal student of photography and I hope I get the opportunity to work with you. I love being able to capture the emotions of a moment in the faces of those experiencing the moment.

Above and beyond! We cancelled last minute and Jake rescheduled with no hesitation! He spent quality time with my son and went above and beyond to get the perfect shot. I can't wait to see the finished photos! So happy we went with Jake!

I loved working with Jake!! I will book him for my future events for sure. There was no need for me to tell him what I wanted photos of, he did it on his own. The finished product was amazing!! He definitely captured moments that I will forever keep memories of.

Jake was a pleasure to work with. We wanted baby photos and my little guy didn't cooperate the best. But Jake was patient and happily waited and worked with the situation. He came with some posing ideas of his own and listened to our ideas as well. In the end, patience paid off. We now have some AWSOME pictures of our little guy. I know who I'll call next time I need photos done!! Thank you so much.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My services are pretty simple. My wedding packages start at $3000. My hourly rate for birthdays and parties is $250 and my head-shot price is $250.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I typically ask a lot of questions and try to find out what is most important to the client. I answer any questions my clients have and then I write up a contract that fits their style and budget.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I stay pretty updated with the latest trends and developments in photography. I do not have any formal training but have been coached and mentored by some of the industries best.
