Allen and Melissa were very accommodating and great to work with. The food tasted excellent and they always kept food stocked and warm. They took care of all the set up and ordered extra supplies to help make it a fabulous event. Thanks to their help people were talking about the party for weeks! :)

In September of 2013 Simple Elegance Personal Chef and Catering Service became the official catering provider and team chef's to the Rockford IceHogs - the American Hockey League affiliate of the Chicago Blackhawks. Melissa and Allen bring an extensive background an arsenal of nutritional expertise and food service talents. Melissa and Allen were wonderful to work with. We asked them to make some samplings of food for our elderly mother to taste so if she needed she could have them be her personal chef. The tenderloin, roasted chicken and pasta were all delicious!

We follow the food trends very closely, stay up on our certifications, and attend shows and seminars which benefit our profession.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
Both Melissa and I were born and raised in the hospitality industry. When we found each other we knew this was something we would enjoy doing together.
What types of customers have you worked with?
In-home personal chef services where we cook for the clients and serve their guests. We also do all the menu design and clean-up afterwords.
