Matt displays great patience with the students and does an excellent job of keeping the students engaged. He creates an environment where they have fun while learning. In addition to teaching the students how to play the guitar, Matt also teaches them the proper maintenance on the guitar. Matt instills in the students the importance of reading music and playing technically correct. He ensures the students are continuously challenged to improve without overwhelming them. Our son has taken lessons for over a year now and it has been a very rewarding experience for him as well as us.

Matt is an awesome music teacher. He is extremely knowledgeable and is able to teach what he knows in a very patient and effective way. He makes lessons fun and interesting for his students. He is reliable and respectful. I would highly recommend Matt if you are looking for a music teacher.

Matt has been great. He comes to the house and gives personal attention in a comfortable one on one setting. My son took lessons in the past and was indifferent to them, since he started taking lessons with Matt he hasn't put down his guitar!!
