We had a leak that was leaking on the kitchen floor and in the crawl space but not under the kitchen sink and our one sink was running slow, it was puzzling. Our tech came out and said it was leaking from the upstairs. He gave us two quotes one was to replace the whole line $4,000 and another for &2,000 to just do a partial replace we went with the whole line. After further inspection he said it was our facet that was leaking and we had a clog in the pipes so he replaced the facet and the pipes under the sink cost us $1,800. I appreciate his honesty when we had already approved the $4,000 work order. Everything is working beautifully. Really nice young man. We got their magnet for our fridge so we can call them again should we need a plumber.

Today I called Vertical Plumbing to come to my home to assess and fix my clogged bathroom tub and slow draining bathroom sink. My initial Interaction with a customer service telephone representative (Tacori) was very pleasant. She was professional and thorough as she gathered the information regarding my situation and promptly dispatched my work order to an available plumber (Dylan). She explained the $96 service fee that I would incur if I opted not to complete the service today. I then received a prompt text message notification from the plumber providing me with his estimated arrival time which he adhered to. After Assessing the situation he stated he would snake the slow draining sink in hopes of unclogging the tub as well. Unfortunately, this idea did not work and he didnt have any others to try. He stated the only other recourse was to charge $3K to open the wall in hopes of being able to solve the problem. Please note, this same bathroom was remodeled and gutted down to the studs to include the plumbing approximately five years ago. With that being said there was no way I was going to pay to have the wall opened based on Dylans hopes. In summary, I paid Vertical Plumbing $577.83 for Dylan to spend approximately 40 min to snake under the sink and leave with the problem unresolved and for my continued inability to use the shower or the tub, which is essentially the same position I was in before meeting him.with the exception of being $577.83 lighter in the pocket. Let me be clear, I dont think I am entitled to a full refund because he did provide a service however, I believe that I am entitled to at least half of that fee back since he didnt resolve ANY PART of why he came or what he charged me for.*******Update*******The following business day I reached out to the company by phone and spoke to the reception and the owner (the same plumber who came to my home) and they were kind enough to refund me 50% ($288.91) of what I paid since they were in agreement that the plumbing problem had not been resolved.
