I've waited forever to remodel my bathrooms money of course is always an issue but also for me I kept changing my mind as to what I wanted (style color etc.) so when I finally made the decision to go ahead with my project I knew I needed help, that's where Julie came in. I knew at our first meeting we would work well together. She gets my aesthetic and knows we have to keep to my budget. Julie has a great personality down to earth and really listens to you.The project hasn't official started but I know when it's finished with Julie's design ideas I'm going to have the bathroom and bedroom I've always wanted. I had never worked with a designer before, but knew I needed some help on making my remodel look really first-rate. As a busy dad, I was not looking forward to spending the hours needed to think through a room design, figure out colors, chase installers, and choose flooring, furniture...and everything else.
Juilie took on the project, and was quick to figure out a design style by taking my rough ideas and adding her own expertise.
After working together for just a few days, I felt comfortable trusting Julie to pick out furnishings accessories and even carpeting, and she did not let me down. The result is a great looking house that's comfortable and functional, too. Highly recommend Julie as a designer with great ideas, and a friendly, down-to-earth manner.

Julie came in at the eleventh hour to save the day(s)! After closing on our new house, we had a very tight window of time to get certain projects done, including painting, flooring, and lighting. I initially reached out to Julie to help me figure out paint colors and flooring for several rooms. After spending countless hours looking for paint colors and floor options, my husband and I had narrowed it down to several options, but still didn't know what to ultimately pick. I also wanted to complement other colors and floors in the house, and didn't want to make the wrong choice. Julie came to the rescue. I hired her for 1 hour and she showed up fully prepared with paint swatches and floor options and looked at ours. In that hour, she helped us pick paint colors and different flooring for different spaces, which I hadn't even considered. She was responsive, professional, and a pleasure to work with. So much so that I hired her again, this time to help me select light fixtures for different rooms, again with a tight turnaround. She delivered. After discussing what I was looking for and budget, I received a shopping list to meet my needs and budget that same day. I bought the light fixtures the next day. I highly recommend Julie, and am certain I will be calling on her expertise again soon. Thanks Julie for helping us in such a tight time frame and exciting time for me and my family!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My hourly consultation rate for interior design is $200.00
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My process working with a new client, is to set up our first consultation to meet and view the space. If the client is able to send photos of the existing space and possible inspiration ideas prior to our meeting, I then can start brainstorming ideas for our first meeting.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have helped clients with large full remodel projects to smaller redesign/remodel projects that include choosing paint colors, space planning and selecting all finishes and furniture/decor for their home decorating projects.
