Matt was great. Very accommodating with meeting times and generally good communications (he calls and texts and his wife handles the email). Did not know Matt, but could tell he was trustworthy so we let him work with his crew in the house while we were at work. The quality was fantastic. They installed 24x6" porcelain tile that looks like wood and used something like an epoxy grout. Apparently that's not as easy as regular tile but they did very well. Matt caught a few very minor issues caused by his crew and made sure they were fixed, though 99% of the work was done right the first time. He did a great job of structuring the work so that we could have access to critical appliances for as long as possible. He went above and beyond, moving appliances where necessary and even setting our toilet after he was done (didn't agree on that ahead of time, he just offered to do it if we provided the supplies). My only minor gripe is some of the baseboard work wasn't perfect (i.e. baseboard not flush with the cabinetry, but left some spacing). Tile work, however was pretty much perfect. Even when we had an unrelated issue that impacted how he was able to do his work, he rolled with it and worked around the issue until it was handled by another contractor. Finally, for the price he can't be beat. His costs were half to 200% less than the competition (i.e. Home Depot and Vallow respectively), and he didn't nickel and dime us like other outfits do. Call him for your next job and you won't be disappointed!

Fantastic job by Matt and his crew. They were very responsive to our many questions and treated us like family. They were so efficient calling us to let us know when they would be by...best of all they did exactly what they said they would do and on time. Every other contractor on our build did exactly the opposite so Matt and his crew were a refreshing change. Extremely professional and personable we are thrilled with our new floor and our new favorite contractor (and new friends) Thank you Floors By Matt we appreciate you guys!
