Hi, my name is Doug. I've been playing tennis for over 30yrs and enjoy teaching the game. I was born and raised in the Chicagoland area. I played tennis for my high school team and a little in college. I still stay active so I can keep up with more spirited students. I am a PTR certified tennis coach (ptrtennis.org) which will supplement my current student/coaching abilities. I realized I really enjoy teaching this sport after introducing my 7yr old daughter to the game. Sometimes it's a challenge to keep her engaged so I try to make it fun for her while having her learn. This is what incorporate into lessons I teach.
