- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? My full fee is 150/hr for the hour sessions and a free midweek follow up text, email, phone or video call. I offer sliding scales depending on the situation. I am out of network for insurance purposes and cannot use insurance payments across state lines.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? If you decide that my skills and location or remote services are a match for your issues, we schedule a brief call to determine if you'd like to work together on these issues and then we would decide on rate and frequency of interactions. I usually recommend a one hour session once per week and a midweek follow up call, text, or email for continuity, a chance to improve any plans we set that aren't as effective as we'd like them to be, and to provide an accountability check as you try to meet your goals. You receive my session notes with our agreed upon plans for change with coaching. Therapy notes are private medical records and require releases for disclosing them.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I am a certified life coach and have a doctorate in Clinical Psychology with over 25 years in clinical practice. In my work with people I focus on the present, use a positive and change oriented mindset, and base our strategies for change on your strengths.
