Dr. Vertino has been very helpful in guiding and advising my soon to be college graduate daughter thru her next steps into her career path. He is very easy to talk to, gives great advice and truly cares about her success and confidence as she navigates networking and interviewing. After just a few coaching calls, she had her first interview and was offered the position! We are very excited!

I am grateful that the Thumbtack app matched me to Dr. Anthony Vertino. Dr. V has been an invaluable source of advice, motivation and guidance to me. He has simultaneously operated as a coach, mentor, and therapist. Dr. V's role dexterity, which has adjusted based on what I need at the time, and his expertise from having helped clients of all types (neurodiverse and different levels career achievement) has granted me profound improvement. Indeed, through empathy, careful listening, and non-judgement, Dr. V has helped me understand, question, rationalize, and process several concerns across a variety of topics. Whether the topic be handling challenging people relationships, to work issues, to figuring out future career directions, to mending past unresolved trauma, Dr. V is able to address. He grasps complex issues quickly and articulates them back with simplicity and clarity. I feel like I now have a valuable asset in my corner and his engagement continues to be well worth the investment. Not only did I see immediate improvement from our initial sessions, I see Dr. V continuing as a constructive force and the right partner for my continued self-improvement and self-discovery. I highly recommend Dr. Anthony Vertino for both short- and long-term work.

Dr. Vertino has helped me through some tough times already and I haven’t even known him a whole year. He’s willing to just listen and let you talk and even cracks a good joke once in a while which always lightens the mood. Overall I love the way he works and he’s helped me to get my dog an esa letter which has made her such an important part of my life.

The sessions have been well organized, but still very flexible. Dr. Vertino's input to my situation is spot on, and gets to the bottom of what the problem is, and shows his experience with ADHD affected mindsets; among other topics as well.

FAQs
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My fees range from 50$ to 150$ for the hour sessions free midweek follow ups or texts.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
If you decide that my skills and location or remote services are a match for your issues, we schedule a brief call to determine if you'd like to work together on these issues and then we would decide on rate and frequency of interactions. I usually recommend a one hour session once per week and a midweek follow up call, text, or email for continuity, a chance to improve any plans we set that aren't as effective as we'd like them to be, and to provide an accountability check as you try to meet your goals. You receive my session notes with our agreed upon plans for change with coaching. Therapy notes are private medical records and require releases for disclosing them.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a certified life coach and have a doctorate in Clinical Psychology with over 25 years in clinical practice. In my work with people I focus on the present, use a positive and change oriented mindset, and base our strategies for change on your strengths.
