Highly recommend Marvel! Steve and his team came out on short notice, explained my options, and remediated my radon levels on the first try. As a bonus, he and his crew were pleasant and very professional- they even mopped and vacuumed the floor after they finished. Results speak for themselves. These guys are fast, extremely effective, and most of all really easy to work with. I decided to go with a different radon fan and they were accommodating with the cost adjustments. Here are the results:
Radon Test Readings Pre-Mitigation: ~11.0 in Basement (official home inspection determined a level of 8.0) Family Room (slab on grade): ~3.0-4.0
Radon Test Readings Post-Mitigation: 0.3 in Garage 0.3 in Family Room 0.4 Basement
Note: to ensure accuracy, I delayed the post mitigationradon reading for 5 days after remediation and kept the home in closed conditions during that period as well as the 3-day reading period. I have a high level of confidence that this issue is fully resolved!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Radon mitigation jobs can be pretty standard, but there are often unique conditions of a home that could complicate the install. Remember, no two homes are exactly alike! After asking a few questions, we can typically build an estimate over the phone and have it sent to our clients in just minutes. You don't have to worry about hidden fees with us.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We have a basic questionnaire that we go through with each client to understand more about their home and situation. The questions will include information about the foundation type (basement, crawl space, combination); the age of the home; if there are sumps and ejector pits, etc.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We are fully licensed Radon Mitigation Professionals. Illinois has set a rigorous procedure in place to ensure that only qualified personnel are licensed to perform radon mitigation services.
