FAQs

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

In January 1990, ShapeMaster was formed because we saw a need to provide buyers, engineers, inventors, and designers with the ability to order small or large quantities of solutions in plastics and other materials for the manufacturing of their products; regardless of their size, they receive the same high level quality of service.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Always look for a company that makes the product in house and has an actual brick and mortar business. Do not use invention submission companies as most are scams. Do work with companies who can show a proven track record of success in developing a plastic molded part or complete product. Make sure your ideas are protected by way of a NDA (non-disclosure agreement). You will pay for services rendered however you should receive something tangible from a company who makes a prototype for you. Always check out the testimonies of others on the business you are seeking help from.
