I specialize in only Women & Children. What that means is that yes I will do family shoots, or the occasional wedding, but I do not advertise it because I spend my time, energy, and talent to improve my maternity, birth documentary, and newborn skills. Most photographers, all of them I know in this area will cover ALL the spectrum of photographing people, I prefer to offer my clients a more skilled and perfected trade specializing in the one area I love most. I love being able to capture the moments that we would often forget if they were not photographed. Working with women and newborns I get to see the bond a new mother has with her child, in the delivery rooms I get to witness the strength and power of a woman giving birth, at weddings I am there at the most intimate and important day of a couples life. I love my job and my clients are wonderful!

Tara took our Family Maternity Pictures this past week and they are amazing!!! The sneak peaks that we have seen are beautiful!!! She defiantly had her hands full working with an uncooperative 2 year old that day but was able to still capture some wonderful pictures for my family!!! I think I have found my lifetime photographer!!!!!

Tara is awesome at everything she does!! I had a session for myself and was kind of nervous at the beginning. Taratakes the time to make sure you are comfortable durring your session, calming your nerves, and helps you relax, in order to get great pictures. I for sure know where I will be going when I have children!!

Tara is great. She is very understanding if something comes up like children getting sick. We always get what we pay for and more. She will bend over backwards to make het clients happy. She will work over the time limit to get in all the shots we want. Tara is an awesome photographer!

FAQs

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I price at $100 for a mini session with 10 digital files sent to you. Then a full session is $200 with 15 images and a full hour of shooting. I do offer collections for prints and products starting at $250 and individual prints starting at $5. I also offer payment plans.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Oh yes! I have a degree in photojournalism, but I also have level 2 portrait photographer certification from PCA International (it is a company that owns the sears and walmart studios, or used to anyways not sure if they still do). As well as that have two certifications for photography from the Art Institute of Philly.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I grew up watching my mother work as a photographer in a studio in Atlanta Georgia one summer and loved it.
