- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Since every home and project at unique in their own way, it can be very difficult to quote standard rates and fees without having an at home visit (Consultation). We look at every project and provide a competitive quote with various options to make it more affordable for you. We do our very best to meet and exceed your expectations at a fair and reasonable price and get your project completed in a reasonable, timely fashion.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We like to schedule and meet with our customers to get a better idea of our customer's project needs, room function and general vision. Visits (FREE Consultations) are typically on-site consultations. We will take notes and measurements. We do our very best to submit a specialized, detailed quote for the project within a few days. Sometimes we will be able to quote a price on the spot if the work is not too involved.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
CA Custom Woodworking, Inc., is a family owned business located in Oswego, IL. We started our company in 2009. I am a second generation carpenter and was introduced to cabinetry/construction in junior high. I have over 17 years of experience starting off in the trade through my high school building trades and shop classes along with working for my older brothers and close family friend, building custom homes. In 2009, CA Custom Woodworking, Inc., was born! Chris utilized his love, knowledge and experience in building custom homes into his business but shifted focus on other key aspects of the home. CA Custom Woodworking, Inc., specializes in custom cabinets and fine woodworking around the home and so much more! The company also specializes in; home improvements, basements, bathrooms, kitchen remodels, additions and decks.
