FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I spend a lot of time with my clients, especially at the beginning of a case. I want my clients to see my battle plan for where I see the case going and how we are going to get there. I work tirelessly for my clients.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was invited by one of the finest criminal defense attorneys in Chicago, Rick Mottweiler, to tag along with him to watch him do a motion weeks after I was sworn in as an attorney. It was spectacular. At the very end he asked me if I wanted to do the opening close or the rebuttal. I did the rebuttal. We ended up winning that motion, and the next 6. I was his partner within 2 years. Rick specializes in civil rights now and I'm running my own shop.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with everyone from public officials to illegal immigrants. I have worked with professional athletes to stay at home moms. All of my clients would agree that I tell hard truths, I invest myself in all my cases, and I respond quickly to their calls and concerns.
