FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I wouldn't say that our pricing is overly complicated - we do our best to offer fixed pricing for our clients. However, as much as we try, sometimes a project can become bigger and more complex and for that we will normally quote a more detailed quote since there might be many parts to the project and our client would prefer to complete their project with milestones for payment.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Irmo Marketing and it's employees are always reading and experimenting with new software and technologies to be the most prepared for tomorrow. We can't stop learning with the speed at which technology is moving - our constant joy and struggle to make sure we continue to be a leader in our field.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Sort of by accident. I took a couple projects on - building my first website back in 2000 for a friend, and then another one for a local business. I (Nick Irmo) first focused on computer hardware and electronics and enjoyed that aspect very much - but realized that fixing computers wasn't going to last. The market changed and now you can buy a phone for $399.99 that has 100X more computing power than a 60lb 1000 watt desktop behemoth that cost $3000.00. So I started thinking building websites would be a better long term avenue. I wasn't wrong, but I also didn't make the next facebook or google. I focus on smaller more niche businesses because I believe they deserve just as good if not better than a big business. So since 2007 we have been building affordable websites and it wasn't until lately that we have been focusing 100% of our attention on this business. We want to grow and become a recognized name for quality and affordable websites for small businesses.
