Michelle Quance Mobile Massage

Introduction: Michelle Quance is a young massage therapist located in Palatine, Illinois. She graduated from Harper College Therapeutic Massage Program in January 2013 and passed the MBLEx shortly thereafter. Since then, she has had the opportunity to practice massage in many different environments and with many different types of people. She strongly believes there isn't simply a one-size-fits-all approach to bodywork, and she values communication and respect for every client's specific needs above all else. After working in spa and health club environments, she noticed a trend. Even people who loved massage and were committed to wellness had a hard time fitting visits to a spa or club into their schedules. Mobile massage was the solution to that problem, removing the hassle of traveling and replacing it with the convenience of a therapist coming directly to you! Michelle is hot stone and prenatal certified and also practices fire cupping. She is dedicated to expanding her repertoire of massage knowledge and techniques and is always studying and practicing new modalities. She will often incorporate elements of reflexology, shiatsu, Thai massage, acupressure, and reiki into her sessions when appropriate. Michelle has been a roller derby skater for over 3 years (although she is on leave, currently) and is very committed to fitness and being well. She understands what the body needs to be healthy and free of pain and how bodywork can play a role in that process. Sports and deep tissue massage are her specialties, but she understands the benefits of a lighter pressure and is always adaptable to her client's needs.
