I was very happy with my project with Ewald Construction. Not only did they provide a very high design background but also efficient floor planning for our basement that was functional yet high design and the look we were going for. They were able to walk me through each phase of the project prior to it happening and provide insights from years of experience. The only thing I would change in the process is possibly being out of the house on the concrete breaking days, it was very loud and we probably should have just left for the day. Overall, I would highly recommend Kerry and his company and will be contacting them with our next project in Plainfield.

We had a great experience with Ewald construction inc. We suffered a water loss a couple of weeks ago and Kerry responded right away and him and another man came to inspect everything, they repaired the split pipe and dried out my home. I'm so thankful they responded quickly to my message and they are still currently putting my home back together but I don't know what I would've done without their response! Thank you so much kerry

When we bought our house and moved here there were several projects that needed to be completed in our new home. These projects included, master bath remodel, hall bath remodel, kitchen remodel, and later we finished our basement. while we did not do all of these projects at the same time, we used Ewald Construction for each project because their quality and workers were great each time! I appreciated the honesty and communication from Kerry and his staff. We definitely recommend Ewald construction for any of your remodeling needs.

Going through picking and choosing a contractor was just very stressful and we finally met Kerry and his team, they were very professional and they went through their to my husband and I regarding the work we wanted done in our home. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I provide every customer with a very detailed itemized fix bid. There are generous allowances in the estimate for things like carpet, tile, cabinets, granite, plumbing fixtures, etc because it is hard to know what a customer will choose. Credits and overages are tracked on a change order and every item on the change order requires customer approval.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Set up an appointment to meet the customer, collect details, draw and measure the project.
Return a packet containing a detailed estimate, scaled drawing, schedule, selection forms, references, and other informational stuff to help educate the customer so they can make a good decision on which contractor to work with.

I have a degree in Computer Science and have been trained in project management by one of the top 5 leading technology companies in the world.
I grew up doing construction with my father. There isn’t anything I haven’t done residentially.
I am certified in water mitigation, mold mitigation, fire restoration, smoke damage, carpet cleaning, and flooring installations
I am an entrepreneur who owns two constructions companies, a hair salon, and a preventative maintenance company.
