- How did you get started doing this type of work?
What really drove me to take my photography and video to the next level was my mentor. I have always enjoyed creating video & photos, but it wasn't until meeting a friend who would later become my mentor did I realize the beauty and power of media. He has been a network camera operator for the last 15 years. It was his guidance and insight that inspired me and drove me. From that moment on I have dedicated myself to bettering my abilities and skills. I can honestly say it was one of the best decisions that I have ever made.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
If you're a bride or a mother of the bride looking to book a photographer, the best advice I can give is ask lots of questions! Be sure the person you hire is going to fit not only your photographic style but more importantly you have the same vision. Remember you are hiring a photographer for one of the most important events of your life. Something else to consider is the amount of experience the photographer has, many times I hear of people who were left with poor quality images due to lack of experience. Lastly consider the length of time between the day of the wedding and when you receive the final product and what you want the final product to be.
