I thought my central air unit was toast after changing the capacitor and toasting the ignition control on the air handler. I was really feeling defeated. I changed the ignition control board and the compressor was still not running. I reached out to Jeff on Thumbtack stating that I needed a 3.5 ton condenser installed at about 500AM. Before 800 AM Shawna sent a message saying Jeff would be calling. 2 MIN later the phone rang. I shamefully informed him about all I had done. I was expecting to get a heavy sigh followed by "Well this is why you should leave it to the professionals." On the contrary, Jeff was understanding and respectful of my desire to take care of my own problems. He suggested all might not be lost and gave me an idea. He told me he could come by today but that the part I likely need is not on his truck that morning. He then said that he could get one and would be in the area on Saturday. I took his advice, and along with the one who gives me strength in all things, my AC is back up and running. Amen!
As a nurse I selflessly help people every day in some of their hardest times. On this day I learned that some heating and air companies do too! :) Thank you Jeff and Shawna!
I will still need a compressor sooner or later but it is always better not to do these things in a crisis.

His prices were fair, quick response, and knowledgeable about what needed to be done.
After installing my water heater, he thoroughly inspected my AC unit to insure it was ready for the season.
Would recommend him for anyone else and he now has my business for future work.
