I design my coaching around each students strengths, teasing out his/her vulnerabilities to become something of a positive instead of a negative or a block. I teach all experience levels from beginner to intermediate and advanced as well as artists that are currently on stage. Whats most rewarding to me is helping people develop confidence and self-esteem through theater work and exercises, helping them find new ways to express themselves and find community with peers who are experiencing the same thing they are. For me, its about being a part of something greater than yourself.

Mrs. Friedmann helped me a lot with the professional side of the speech and acting skills, but not only. Mrs. Friedmann also gave me great motivation and helped me to grow my self confidence. Beth is very worm person and proffesional as well.

I hired Beth to help me prepare for a presentation. I am a nurse practitioner who has previously presented before audiences, this time it was in front of a national audience of healthcare professionals. In addition, the material was somewhat new to me. Beth helped me feel confident in my presenting skills by fine-tuning the story-line of the presentation as well as my delivery. I will be using Beth again for future presentations!

Beth is open to my needs. I enjoy speaking so that was not the challenge. Finding a way to engage the audience (unique audience) is our goal. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I teach specific techniques that students can rely upon when auditioning or speaking in puclic. These techniques are a foundation so they can feel confidence in any performance situation.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I went into theater school and then realized I had a talent and "eye" for directing. Directing and my Behaviorial Studies degree lend themselves quite nicely to understanding character motivation.
