Rafay was early at my wedding and I was running late on setting things up. He was so kind enough to offer to help. He was very professional and took amazing pictures. He made sure to be around for important moments at my wedding. He even stayed an extra 30 minutes even though he didn’t have to. I definitely recommend him to anyone. If I have another special event Rafay will be the photographer I will hire again.Sep 21, 2018Verified

JZ was in charge for our engagement event and needless to say some of the key moments were not captured. The photo quality was good, but terrible angles with heads cut off and barely any pictures of family or my fiance and I. The videography was even worse with heads cut off, many key moments missed and massive delay in getting the dvds to us. It took 5 weeks to get back to us when it was promised at 2 weeks. My name was spelled wrong and so they had to send out another set of dvds. They lied about shipping the first batch for over a week as well. Once we got the dvd there was only 53 minutes of film for a 6 hour event...He had cut out important parts of the religious ceremony and were nowhere to be found half the night to capture group pictures or film moments when we were socializing with guests.we were beyond upset that after spending all this money our memorable day was not captured at all. After all that is why we hire vendors to remember the memory which JZ ruined. At least we now know for the wedding to not use them. Overall I would not recommend. The photography was okay as the angles were bad and the videography was way below par.Sep 10, 2018Verified
Philip was very responsive to messages and easy to coordinate our event with. He used good equipment, and the quality of our pictures turned out well. I would recommend specifying exactly what you want, because we kind of left it up to him and his experience photographing wedding receptions, and upon receiving our photos our expectations fell a little short. I wish he had involved my guests a bit more to have them pose for photos at their tables instead of doing nearly all candids, which yielded a lot of random photos of people eating and their backs turned to the camera. I also wish he had captured more of the dancing at our event, because a lot of people were enjoying themselves, but there are not many pictures to show that. Not sure if he didn't do so because of the dark lighting in the room once the dancing started, so maybe there is a good reason for that. Overall, Philip was very committed his work, he provided our photos in a timely manner, and his prices were very reasonable.Dec 3, 2017Verified

Our experience with JZ studio wedding photography was fantastic! Not only is he a consummate professional, but they made the experience so fun, easy and positive. I would highly recommend him to any family or couples who is looking of standing by a picket fence or in front of a backdrop for their family photos or for a wedding event. It is truly a unique end product that you will treasure!Jun 9, 2018
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? The price depends on the type of event, location, and clients' requirements.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?A great portrait is a collaboration between photographer and subject. When both are working together, the result is far more than what comes from direction alone.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have a certificate from New York Photography Institute. Also, I am an expert in using softwares like Photoshop, Lightroom, Adobe After Effect, etc.,
