I have a background in child education, psychology, and music theory.
I hold a master’s degree in education, and bachelors in music education, with a major in psychology and emphasis on family and community services. Educational credentials provided upon request.
I love to watch children succeed and build self esteem, while developing love of music. The children I was hired many years ago through the Thumbtack now in the High School, stills taking the lessons and make me very proud on annual recitals.

I am so glad to have found Mrs. Vera! We chose her because of her patience and personal attention.
Mrs. Vera has been able to make piano fun and interesting. She gives her full attention to our daughter.
Our daughter (7) actually wants to practice and has picked up the instrument very well. I would recommend Mrs. Vera if you want your child to explore and deepen their knowledge of music for life, not just rote learning.

Mrs.Vera is a great piano teacher. She is very systematic with her piano lessons , friendly and patient with kids.

We have only had Vera for two lessons so far. So far we are very happy with her. She is nice to the kids, organized, and seems to be flexible with time. Exactly what we were looking for.

My 7 year old loves the musiclessons with Vera. Just in a few months from having no music experience he went to playing multiple songs. Vera passed her passion for music to my son, who cannot wait for the next musiclesson. I would highly recommend Vera to anyone.

Vera is a very enthusiastic piano teacher. She works very well with my beginner 6 year old child and makes learning piano fun. My child looks forward to his lessons with Vera and even enjoys practicing. She really is a wonderful teacher to introduce children to piano.

I attend seminars and workshops continually.
What types of customers have you worked with?
In home private piano lessons. Most sessions are between 30-45 minutes. I generally recommend student have 1-2 session per week. Practice makes perfect!
