We hired Thunder Volts Electric to replace multiple light fixtures in our home and install a new lighting in a bedroom. They were very responsive, professional, and easy to schedule with. The work was completed quickly and everything looks great. Sam was knowledgeable and made sure the installation was done properly. Overall a very smooth experience and we will absolutely use them again for any electrical work.
I was in a bind. The company contacted me within 5 minutes of my posting and their electrician was here in 45 minutes. He had everything he needed on his truck and completed the job rapidly. It looks good and works again. Very pleasant people to work with.

I was having a circuit breaker issue that controlled the kitchen while my wife was in the middle of baking desserts and preparing food for Thanksgiving. I reached out and got a call back in 5 to 10 minutes from Devin. In about 40 minutes Sam was at the door came in diagnosed the problem and fixed it. Potential Thanksgiving disaster avoided.

I was quoted for less than an hour of work. The first electrician took two hours but was unable to resolve the issue. The second electrician, however, fixed the problem in just 90 minutes. Both electricians were very professional and courteous. I was only charged for the 90 minutes that the second electrician took to resolve my issue. both forgot about my second switch on my work order, but they did resolve the harder issue
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For most projects we can provide a free estimate after receiving pictures of the project as well as other requested project specific information.
For hourly work we charge $200 for the first hour and $120 per hour after that. Typical types of projects that would be billed hourly would be troubleshooting/repair work, on site consultations, etc.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When working with a new customer we like to start the process out with getting some basic information about the project. Then, if possible, it can be very helpful if the customer can send us pictures of anything that would be relevant to the project. After that we may schedule a brief phone call to discuss the project in more detail. Depending on the project, we may be able to provide an estimate at this point or schedule an in person visit to gather more information.
