Additionally, Melissa's experience includes work with elementary, middle school and high school students experiencing familial changes including death, divorce and parental incarceration. She has also worked in residential settings with adolescent girls experiencing eating disorders. Melissa believes in the creative process of therapy while utilizing a variety of modalities including art therapy, client centered and strength based. She is genuine and has unconditional positive regard and empathetic understanding throughout the therapeutic relationship.
