- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge a flate rate $99.66 per month for 30 minute lessons. This is based on the total year offering 46 lessons. Some months there may be three lessons and other months five- this all depends on the calendar of scheduled off weeks (holidays, etc.)
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I always start with getting to know the student first: how they learn, and what interests they have. I give warm ups to begin, and exercises that work finger dexterity and coordination. Based on our first lesson which includes an evaluation, we pick our books to order. As we continue lessons we work from our books and with continued exercises. I always keep it fun and introduce new music to learn on top of the material given.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Bachelors Degree in Musical Theater from Columbia College Chicago. Over 15 years providing music lessons Performed on Broadway (voice) and toured in a band (piano). Provided music and dance instruction through Palatine and Schaumburg Park Districts. Prrovided ceremony and cocktail music for multiple weddings and events.
