FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I generally have a flat rate of $60/hour, but will work with clients; especially those on a fixed income, including seniors and students.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1.) I always start out with an interview. I believe that the client and I should get to meet and see if we have a rapport, that our personalities can get along, basically to see if we like each other enough to work together for as long as the clients wants/needs my services. This is the time we use to list out in writing their health and fitness goals and the motivation(s) behind them. 2.) I evaluate their present physical abilities with a basic skills, strength and flexibility test. 3.) Once I know the clients present fitness level, I design the fitness program of their preferred modality, i.e. yoga, pilates, weight training, etc. and progress as the client's strength and endurance increases.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am certified in yoga, trained in pilates and have a BS in nutrition and dietetics. I am continuously studying on my own and am a voracious reader of any health and fitness and personal development magazines and books.
