Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: Our goal is for clients to step into a room we've finished with custom window treatments and feel great, feel comfortable, and feel like it has that "finishing touch." We are problem-solvers, and some clients appreciate the background from my Industrial Design degree, where i am able to look at all aspects of a space and not just "sell blinds." Meeting new clients every week in all kinds of homes is enjoyable, since we can make a positive difference in the life of each one. To help someone wake up happy, come home to a beautiful space, or sleep better makes for a good day.

FAQs

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

I have been creating since childhood, designing since college, and playing with fabrics forever. This business allowed me to start while my children were very small and work from home, building a business around my family.

  • Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

The Edwards Place historic home in Springfield was restored to its 1860 appearance during 2014-2015, and we had the privilege to work with the Springfield Art Association staff and be invited to design and provide the window treatments. Today's window treatments, while beautiful, are less elaborate than the 5 layers of gorgeous shades, drapery, valances and trimmings that Mrs. Helen Edwards asked for in 1860!

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Work with someone you are comfortable with, who will provide professional service, make your life easier, and guarantee what they do for at least 10 years.
