Troy painted a large wall mural that was a compilation of pages from a Dr. Seuss book. We were hoping Troy could mimic the style of illustrations in the book and he did just that...spot on! Our mural could not be more perfect! Troy's enthusiasm about our project each time we spoke via phone or email gave us a wonderful feeling that he was on board with us. Troy is very professional, knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. We were totally comfortable having him in our home. He truly cares about the work being done. We are happy and thankful to have been put in contact with Troy through the recommendation of the IL. Art Association. The first thing that struck me after reaching out to Troy and Free Sky Studios was Troy's enthusiasm. He was excited about our project and that was reflected in the number of ideas he brought to us when we sat down to talk. The second thing that impressed me about Troy was his openness to our ideas about how we saw the project. He then combined his ideas along with ours and came up with the perfect piece to make our house a home. Being at the lake, we entertain a lot and everyone who sees the mural thinks its one of the most fun things they've seen. We just love what Troy and Free Sky Studios have done for our home!

With FreeSky Studios' expertise the team at BUNN was able to help create a beautiful mural to bring warmth and fun into the entry way of the Family Service Team. Troy worked closely with the BUNN and Family Service Center team to create a mural concept in line with the rest of the renovations and create a "paint by number" that BUNN employees could accomplish in one day. FreeSky then came back and did outlining and touch ups. It was a rewarding project and the resulted mural is warm, welcoming and fun.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is based on many factors: complexity of the artwork, size of the wall, condition of the wall (does it need sealed and primed), location of the wall, distance of travel, etc. I consider all this and more in pricing and deliver a full proposal on every project.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1) Initial Consultation (generally over the phone) to discuss the scope and get the ball rolling. 2) View the wall either in person or over the phone 3) Provide a proposal with a quick mockup with a time and cost estimate 4) Discuss terms and any needed permits, etc. 5) Approve proposal 6) Paint!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
20 plus years working in the design and marketing field, 15 plus years of customer relations work, 10 years of owning and operating my own business, 20 years of being a father, community activist, Christ follower and husband.
