How did you get started doing this type of work?
Painting is the family business. Fathers, uncles, Grandfathers all were painters. This trade has raised our families for generations. We quite literally have been painting our whole lives. We are exceptional at both painting and customer service.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Interior and exterior household projects. We also do a lot of basement finishing, and outdoor areas like porches, fences and decks. Some customers need the work done quickly either because they are moving/selling or are being cited by code enforcement.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
We recently painted an adirondack chair as a gift for my Mom. She LOVED it! Since the chair will remain outdoors, we used boat quality paint and applied 5 coats to make sure it is weatherproofed and won't chip or peel. We added her name and titles like Mom, Wife, Sister, Friend & Grandma. One of the reasons we like to paint is seeing how happy the customer is when the job is complete. To see Mom's reaction to her "new" chair was so rewarding! It's hard to top making your Mom proud.
