My tutoring is an investment. Bottom line - my tutoring results in high scores! When you save thousands of dollars through scholarships and merit pay, the tutoring cost is minimal.
I'm an Illinois certified teacher with a Master's degree in Education. I show students great strategies for each section. With my background in teaching, I also make sure students know the content for each section as well. Once a section is covered, I send review sheets so students can work independently to practice what they've learned. I assess progress as we go and I keep parents informed of that progress.

Wendi is a skilled and gifted tutor and I HIGHLY recommend her services. She did an excellent job of preparing our daughter for the ACT test. I haven’t received test scores yet but appreciated the manner in which Wendi broke down complex sections and provided strategies for identifying the correct answers. Our daughter’s confidence level was also increased.

Wendi was very helpful in prepping me for the ACT. I enjoyed that I got one-on-one help because I feel like I got more out of it that way. I liked the way Wendi approached each of the 4 sections on the ACT test. We worked on both strategies and how to do certain problems, so I got a wide range of information that I need to succeed on the test.

She is an inspiring motivator to your child. She is warm, caring and very knowledgeable of all subjects. I would recommend her to anyone (child or adult). She not only helped my daughter with learning subjects for the ACT, but also with helpful hints and techniques. Lastly, my daughter also suffered from anxiety during testing. I'm happy to say she did not experience any anxiety when testing!!!

Wendi was great to work with. She was flexible in meeting our scheduling needs and was incredibly responsive to every request. My daughter LOVED her. She is patient, competent and caring. She gives practical tips about taking the test and does a lot to help build confidence in taking the ACT. We don't have the results yet, but based on our experience, we would highly recommend Wendi.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My fee is determined by the kind of tutoring my customer chooses. The fee for private tutoring is higher than if a student were to enroll in a class. I do keep my class sizes very small, however, with 5 at the most. This ensures for quality tutoring and prepping. Classes are held in the Frankfort, Illinois area as well as northwest Indiana!
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I go over the techniques and strategies I use with each student. I explain my pricing and how long I think it will take to achieve desired results. My schedule is flexible, so we can always work out a time to meet.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a state licensed teacher in Illinois. I have a Master's degree in Education with many years of classroom teaching experience, both at the elementary and high school level.
