Overall I am very happy with the work that Home Build did with my home. I had to replace a sliding patio door, with custom measurements and fit to the opening. The team was very responsive, the quote was competitive, and the order to install time was less than expected. The installation team did show up earlier than expected but was flexible enough to wait for someone to arrive at the house without consequences for my appointment. They cleaned up very well, and there were no surprises during payment. I would use them again.

I've had a lot of contractors come through my home in the last couple years, and HomeBuild is one of the few companies who really stand out from the rest.
I put out a bid on Thumbtack and received a quick response from Steve, the owner, letting me know their team could assist with my window needs. We scheduled a date for a free estimate.
When Steve arrived, he took care to put on some booties over his shoes to ensure he didn't dirty my home. Steve carefully listened to what I was asking for and made thoughtful suggestions on
window selections for both my porch and kitchen. He measured and then plugged the numbers into his computer to provide me with an estimate right on the spot. I was pleased to see that the
costs were very affordable compared to another company's estimate I received earlier that week.
Shortly after I agreed to the project, Steve came by and re-measured the windows(good sign!), collected the deposit,
and placed the window order. Not too long after the paperwork was in order, he scheduled the install date. AND, imagine, the day Steve scheduled for install was the day the install was actually performed!!
The day before the install and the day of the install, there was constant communication of when the job was starting, who was on the premises, who would be arriving to pickup the last payment, etc -- AMAZING!!
There were two workers, Tom and Matthew, who diligently and quietly worked all throughout the day to complete the job.
I watched them level the windows, fill gaps with insulation, and effortlessly caulk all around the windows. The guys have perfected the craft of windowinstall. Thank you, Tom and Matthew! The windows look beautiful!!
At the end of the day, Martin (Steve's business partner), arrived to inspect the work. He made sure I was happy with the
job and pick up the last payment. Martin also took care to take his shoes off when he entered the home. Such good manners!
This is one of the most smoothly run projects ever completed in my home. I have high praise for Tom's and Matthew's workmanship.
Martin and especially Steve took really great care of me as a customer. They made sure I had peace of mind from beginning to end.
In these times, it can be very challenging to find dedicated, trustworthy, caring, on-time, fair costing, service-oriented contractors. Look no further because HomeBuild possesses all of those qualities.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After initial contact ( quote request or request for appointment ) , we will come out and measure the windows / siding / doors . We will suggest the best product that will look great and also fits the budget . The quote is always emailed to the customer in 1-2 business days . We don't believe in pressure sales techniques and never play any games . We don't offer free installation so if thats what you are looking for , we are most likely not the best fit for you . :)
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
18 years in Window Siding Door installs . Started in one huge local company and worked my way up to management position . After few years I decided to open my own business .
