FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am certified in Mold inspection and Remediation. I have also taken classes in water loss mitigation, fire and smoke mitigation, and Radon to name a few things. With this knowledge we can truly help with your indoor air quality. I continue to do 20+ hours a year in continuing education.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have been in the construction industry right out of high school. I went to work in a factory and then an office but it just wasn't what I wanted so in 2010 I started Gray Unlimited as just a Air Duct Cleaning and Mold Remediation company. As demand for service started to increase in our area the handyman in me came out and we expanded into home maintenance and remodeling but staying true to the core of the business we continue to be on the cutting edge with Mold Inspection and Remediation.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
The biggest thing I can think of is knowing what you expectation of the project and type of contractor your looking for. For most people they are driven by price then come to an utter disappointment when there ideal end project isn't as they had hoped it would be. Sometimes it's best to get several estimates and actually meet with the contractors on those estimates to see that they are a fit before talking price. Feel free to look at reviews, look at pictures of the projects they have done, and last but not least talk to their referrals to see what they had to say. Always keep in mind that not everyone will be happy no matter what you do, it's the human spirit.
