Absolutely 5 Stars!! I first had the pleasure of working with Chris, at Carriage House Carpentry & Design, for my bathroomremodel. Chris came out to my home and walked me through everything. He was personable, honest and knowledgeable on all items. I instantly felt that I would be really listened to during the whole process. Chris answered all my questions, and explained potential costs for the bathroom. After our initial meeting, he provided me an itemized quote in under 24hours. I compared quotes, and felt that Chris answered my questions quickly, and explained every detail, even before hiring him. I signed with Chris and we set a time to meet again & then began work! He was very professional, and kept me in the loop the entire time. I felt that he truly cared about each detail, and about me. We would do a quick day to day through, of what he planned to do that day. I felt very confident in his work & often left the house for the day while he worked! I did have to make a couple changes, and Chris walked me through each option, cost changes, and quality. I felt that his advice was correct on everything! Chris was able to give me an amazing bathroom, that I absolutely love!!!! It turned out even better than what I thought it could be. I felt listened to through the whole process. Chris worked long days & even Saturdays to keep us on track for completion. I was completely taken care of, and listened to the entire time. I have used Chris for many other house projects since then, and I am amazed each time! Whether it is a large or a small project, Chris gives them all the same great quality! Have to say that getting Christopher B with Carriage House Carpentry did an excellent job converting unused attic space off the bonus room into a great storage area. Now with what use to be walls and ceiling of 2x4 studs is now insulated, lights in the ceiling and even electrical outlets if ever needed. The wood vinyl flooring was a nice touch that we hadn’t thought about. Thanks to Christopher and his created thinking the way the walls are painted everyone comments about. This room is for storage but now could be a nice tv or workout room. We later had him come back and replace the wired shelves in our kitchen pantry to painted wood shelves with a beveled edge, something we were wanting. He is our go to home maintenance guy now and has came back to re frame a couple of door facings where the builders did a not go good job with doing. My wife and I highly recommend Carriage House Carpentry for your next home project.

I had some built in customized bookshelves put in my house by Chris. He was not only extremely quick to respond to me, but really listened to what I wanted, and was with me through it the whole way. He was professional and truly captured what I was looking for. He arrived on time daily, and I expected it would take more time, but he was right on the money with all aspects. My house was covered and cleaned each day, which was just so nice for them to do.Couldn’t be happier with the quality and the work. I cannot wait to get my next project started with this company and Chris! Thank you!!

Chris did a baby gate for my home. He took the time to qualify what it was I wanted and listened to what I was looking to do. His team was very professional and punctual. I highly recommended his services and have recommended Carriage House to friends and family. He's doing a built-in shelving unit for my in-laws and it's looking great!

I cannot speak for their actual work as the work we were promised was not delivered and the communication kind of fell off, was disappointed we didn’t get the product that we needed and now we are set back to find someone else. Communication in the beginning was good and seems like a good fit, but again disappointed that this fell through at the last minute.

I’m sorry Alexander I apologize that your experience was unpleasant. I do not use thumbtack as a social networking or a communications site I use it for advertising and leads you had my phone number I left you a voicemail you had my card that had my email address and my phone number along with my website address And Facebook account I could never get you to contact me on any of those. Which seem kind of strange to me usually the type of customer base I deal with they pick up the phone and call me before we schedule there projects. You explained me through thumbtackAnd I apologize if that’s where the confusion started but that you had a project with Notching out some four by fours building a sign posts and setting it in the ground looked a sign post in the neighborhood I didn’t find out until the day of that there was no project you just wanted somebody to pick up the material and bring them out to you that was over an hour away. We are not a material delivery service we are a general contracting company. I waited to hear from you via phone call so that we can get on the same page I never heard anything from you. If there’s something that I can do to rectify or help and assist you in anyway you have my phone number do you have my email you have my Facebook and website addresses. If I’m not advertising or looking for leads and my schedule is booked out two months in advance I might not see a text message on thumbtack Because I might have my services turned off at that moment.so the best advice that I can give you and maybe I’m just being a little old fashion to pick up dial my phone number and you can reach me at anytime.But we are a general contracting service so if you have a project that you would like to get put on the schedule and not materials delivered...I’d be happy to help. I apologize for any inconvenience or miscommunication on our part

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We recommend the on-site estimate that way we can get you the best price possible. Once price and design is agreed-upon third will be required upfront to cover material operating cost before putting you on schedule. Any jobs over $5000 require half the more labor-intensive the larger the operating cost overhead and travel expenses.A reasonable timeframe will be agreed-upon once project is completed you will sign the COC(certificate of completion) saying that you’re happy and satisfied with the quality of work performed by carriage house according to the agreed-upon contract at the time we would required the balance of the project. We provide 12 month guarantee all our work.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My background is in the structural design. I have a CAD certification And I have won awards for a design and fabrication for in both residential and commercial fields of building and construction. Trained in OSHA job site safety. General contractors license and insured.
