Furniture Restoration and Repair have been my main focus as a woodworker for 15 plus years. I have become to many the person who can fix anything. I have a Bachelors Degree in Studio Art from North Central College which added to my evolution in terms of creativity, planning and problem solving within a physical space. No matter what it is that I am doing I am a perfectionist and the quality of my work is always top notch. I love people and always want to make everyone happy so I will always try my best to work out the best solutions. I do not do re-upholstery unless its something small like dining room chairs or footstool or something similar but I can sew fabric and repair small holes or rips in leather. I believe that honesty is always first priority because that leads to trusting relationships with repeat customers.

Anthony was a pleasure to work with! He was responsive and able to get us on his schedule very quickly to repair our two-pedestal dining room table. The legs had come loose over time, making the table tilt until it was no longer usable. Anthony was able to give me an estimate and answer my questions about the repair. He had a better solution than what I had originally asked for, and the price was reasonable. He kept us updated about scheduling and arrived on time. He was as friendly and professional, and completed the repair the same afternoon. He was even able to complete two additional smaller repairs for us l that I sprung on him when he arrived. One was a gliding ottoman with a broken screw in one of the feet, and the other was a small upholstered footstool with two legs that had cracked and detached. The additional price to take care of those was also very reasonable and saved us a lot of time: we had asked for an estimate for the ottoman from the Shaker shop we ordered it from originally, but they estimated it would take weeks or months to repair as they’d need to bring it along on their next work trip to Amish country. Anthony took care with our home and items with and clean up. I’m rambling, but only because there are so many good things to say! We’ll definitely contact him again for work in the future as needs arise!

I had contacted Anthony to repair an oak filing cabinet drawer, whose sliding mechanism was broken. My information via Thumbtack had been lost but because he is a conscientious individual he ran down my information and contacted me. He visited my home the very next day and was able to complete the repair and address several other problems in my home as well. Anthony's workmanship is excellent and his skills are diverse! He repaired a dining chair which had a broken arm and the repair is invisible! He touched up the finish on the chairs and some cabinets which are located in my foyer. Moreover, he repaired an American Leather recliner whose reclining mechanism wasn't working and fluffed the down stuffing in the matching sofa's seat cushions. Anthony will be returning to repair a butcher block countertop in my kitchen island saving me from having to replace with a new top lacking the detail of my existing top. His pricing is fair and I am thrilled to have had him in my home to address these repairs!
