What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our standard HVAC diagnostic/service call fee is $89 during regular business hours. This fee covers the technician’s travel to your property, professional system evaluation, troubleshooting, and diagnosis.
If a repair is recommended, we will explain the issue and provide pricing before any additional work is performed.
For many standard repairs completed during the same visit, the $89 diagnostic fee may be applied toward the repair cost. However, this depends on the type and scope of the repair and will be confirmed before work begins.
Please note that the diagnostic/service call fee is due for the completed diagnostic visit even if you decide not to proceed with the repair, the system requires replacement, a specialty part or refrigerant is needed, or the repair cannot be completed during the same visit.
After-hours, weekend, commercial, rooftop, and specialty service may have different service call rates. Any applicable fee will be communicated before scheduling.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We start by learning about the problem and scheduling a convenient service appointment. During the visit, we inspect and diagnose the HVAC system to determine the cause of the issue.
Once the problem is identified, we explain our findings, discuss available options, and provide pricing before proceeding with additional work.
Many common repairs can be completed during the initial visit when the necessary parts and materials are available. However, some repairs may require specialty parts, additional materials, refrigerant, manufacturer warranty processing, or a return visit.
Our goal is to give customers clear information so they can make an informed decision without pressure.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We specialize in professional residential and commercial HVAC service, installation, and troubleshooting. Our experience includes central air conditioning systems, furnaces, heat pumps, ductless mini-splits, rooftop units, ventilation, and related HVAC equipment.
General Climate LLC is an insured HVAC contractor, and we continuously work with manufacturer technical documentation, current equipment, installation standards, and industry best practices. We also specialize in Mitsubishi Electric ductless and heat pump systems.
We are also a Mitsubishi Electric Diamond Contractor specializing in Mitsubishi ductless and heat pump systems.
