I called Richard over for what I thought was a simple smart thermostat fix that the last HVAC tech bailed on half-way through the job because "it was too difficult." -- unfortunately my furnace is in a small crawl space and was not installed correctly. Richard stayed at my home for almost eight hours, correcting the shoddy work done by the two contractors that came before him. Admirable work ethic that you rarely see nowadays. I was so impressed by him that it makes me believe whoever the people are who gave him anything less than a five star rating must never be happy! =) Savage HVAC will be my go-to service for as long as I have the pleasure of paying taxes in the State of Illinois!

Richard was one of two companies that were selected on thumbtack to do ductwork for a kitchen exhaust vent that was causing trouble. Richard was very responsible, responsive, he showed up early and cleaned up after himself. Richard not only does heating and air conditioning, but also gas and electric, and I will certainly use him for other work in our household.
