- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We first discuss exactly the type of photo or video work required so that we can shoot to the client's expectations of the job. We typically have several options that we can provide to help ensure that the shoot meets the budget and delivery requirements. Typical photo turn-around is 48hrs with digital on-line review and downloading, video turn-around on first review typically within 1 week. All images are fully edited or re-touched, all video work is fully edited and color graded. Clients can choose different digital download options on their images, or to order prints at the same time. Video downloads are through our business Vimeo service. Typical headshot studio time is anywhere from 15~30 minutes to a couple of hours, depending on the services asked for.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Over 35 years experience starting out with being formally trained in photography and darkroom work. Experience in shooting film and digital for sports, portrait, event, and commercial work.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Started with an interest with photography in high school, taking classes and working in B&W film. Moving on with film working as a sports photographer for the local Football league in the 1990's for about 4~5 years. Started working with digital images and Photoshop in the late 90's/early 2000's with commercial photography work for client's sales and portfolio work. Continued working steadily in professional photography and video work, traveling all over the world for about 15 years until around 2017. Since then, built up our current studio, which is equipped with a green cyclorama room, multiple backdrops, and equipped with in-house print services handling unto 44" wide prints. Also built-up multiple state-of-art video transfer systems capable of handling the highest quality of tape transfer work, including an 8mm Telecine machine to handle 8mm and Super 8mm film.
