We teach each student in the way that helps them to play music well and soon. That's what anyone starting an instrument wants: music, enjoyment. We are careful to ensure good muscle development and musical virtuosity but we do it in a way that makes students eager to practice and perform. Adults who had an instrument in the closet for years can now play it well. Adults who always dreamed of playing an instrument find themselves enjoying their new found skills. Young players: We have been very lucky to have worked with some fabulous kids over the years. We've been able to travel with them to perform and compete on the world stage. Parents are often amazed that their child has what it takes to become a world class musician. It takes a solid teaching program, caring teachers and kids who are engaged. Talent is overrated, as the book of the same title says. Kids who work hard go far. If a child just wants to have fun playing music, we're on board with that, as well.
