Unlike mold remediation companies, we do not remove mold. Our inspection-only approach means there is no conflict of interest and no incentive to exaggerate findings. We provide honest, unbiased results based on industry-standard testing and over 5,000 inspections performed throughout the Chicago area.
Whether you need a mold inspection in Chicago, help investigating a musty odor, concerns about indoor air quality, visible mold growth, or hidden moisture issues, our certified inspectors can help identify the source of the problem and provide clear recommendations for moving forward.

Excellent company to work with! I used them for both mold and asbestos inspection/testing, and I was extremely impressed with their professionalism and knowledge. They were thorough, explained everything clearly, and made sure the inspection was done properly from start to finish. They were responsive, reliable, and provided the information and documentation we needed quickly. Its hard to find a company that is knowledgeable, honest, and takes their work seriously.I highly recommend them to anyone needing mold or asbestos inspection and testing. Great service and a company you can trust!

I had the unfortunate experience of a dripping water valve in a vanity cabinet. There was a suspicious odor. I had called around for mold inspection. Ultimately, I decided to go with Mr. Mold. They were courteous and professional. They accommodated me with same day service, even though it was late in the day.Their inspector came out. Mo called in advance letting me know ETA. He was courteous, professional, knowledgeable, wasting no time evaluating, inspecting and gathering samples. In the end, service was competitive and well priced. The final report was comprehensive, detailed and with follow through recommendations.Glad I called them!

Mr Mold is the best mold assessment service in the area. Mike completed a very comprehensive assessment, spending hours inspecting and sampling needed areas and surfaces. This service is superior to any remediation service due to the fact they do not remediate, but rather provide an unbiased assessment. Its not about selling you remediation for your dwelling; they truly are there to detect issues and provide details needed to solve the problem if one exists. Mike was very patient, and explained the process and even subsequently provided resources for remediation services. If you think you have a problem, call them and they will find the source for sure!
