Canceled the appointment 8 days out and refused to give the $20 hold back. Would have loved a chance to work with her.
Details: Photo shoot • 26 - 44 years old • Standard (brushes, sponges, etc.) • False lashes • 1 person • At the pro’s location • My home, venue, etc.

Hi Amber, I do apologize for the circumstances that caused the cancelation so close to your event. I had an emergency arise and wanted to make sure you had enough time to look for another mua in your area. in addition, the $20 deposit was non-refundable due to only needed to hold your booking. like many independent artists, the $20 is only used to hold your spot on your preferred date and go towards the overall total of payment, but it is non-refundable. I do apologize. I didn't explain that better before. I hope this clears things up. I hope in future we can work together. I hope you have a wonderful day.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I do have lower prices in the area compared to some mua's in my area.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I will start by introducing myself and getting to know each other. Then, I advise my client fo the process, I will also go over the products I will be using. I will turn on some music and of course I will ask if they have any music suggestions. Then, will start the process of makeup application. Once I am complete and the client loves their makeup and all photos are done, I will clean up.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am fully self taught. In illinois, education/licenses is not required.
