What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My services are customized based on complexity, but individual tax returns start at $175 and small business returns start at $350. I’ll provide an exact quote after a short call
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
At DM Bookkeeping, I keep things simple, professional, and stress-free:
1. Free Discovery Call
We start with a quick call to understand your needs and see if we’re a good fit.
2. Secure Client Portal Setup
Once we agree to move forward, I’ll send you access to your secure portal via TaxDome where you can upload your documents, sign forms, and communicate with me.
3. Onboarding & Document Review
I’ll review your documents, ask clarifying questions if needed, and begin preparing your return or organizing your books.
4. Review & Approval
You’ll receive a video or live review of your return or financials. You’ll approve everything before anything is submitted.
5. Payment & Filing
Payment is securely collected before filing. Then, I file your return or deliver your completed bookkeeping package.
6. Ongoing Support
I offer year-round support for questions, estimated tax payments, and future planning.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Masters In Accounting and Finance Management.
I am an IRS Enrolled Agent (EA), which means I’m federally licensed to represent clients before the IRS for tax matters, including audits, collections, and appeals. This designation requires passing a rigorous three-part exam and completing ongoing continuing education each year.
By day, I work full-time as a staff accountant managing financial reporting and month-end close processes. Outside of that, I run DM Bookkeeping, a virtual tax and bookkeeping service specializing in simplifying taxes for busy entrepreneurs.
