FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Most of my pricing is per hour, but can depend on the level of involvement needed. I want to be available as much as a client needs, or if they are on a more limited budget, I want to give them the tools to make the right decisions.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to set down with the client and get the feel of what they want to accomplish. What kind of atmosphere do they want to achieve? How do they want to use the space? What level of involvement would the client like for me to have? Pointing them toward resources and discussing the timeframe of the project.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I went to college for interior design, but I ended up working in the adoption profession after adding to my family through adoption. I have always decorated my own homes - my husband works for a company that has facilitated many moves and I have had a lot of opportunity do to so! I typically have pictures on the wall before the boxes are unpacked - creating a feeling of home is that important to me!
