- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our pricing is usually estimated by man hours and priced according to the specific task or trade involved. We don't charge specialty rates to clean up the project or shovel dirt. On that same note, we cannot charge laborer rates to finish drywall or install tile. We do offer discounts, referral rewards, and repeat customer discounts. We can often bundle small projects together, saving you extra money in set up fees.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We set an appointment to meet and greet the potential customer so we can assess the scope of the project on site and to hear their ideas and understand exactly what they need done. Once the details are established, we estimate the amount materials needed and acquire current market prices and add that to the labor fees required to complete the project and present that to the customer. If they are happy with the quote, we then discuss the payment method and schedule. Once the financial aspect is taken care of, we sign an agreement and discuss the exact start date and comfortable work hours. We will always work at making new happy customers and we always make sure we have a happy customer before we leave. Hopefully make new friends!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have almost 30 years experience in residential remodeling and maintenance. My dad was a contractor so, I have basically been around the industry all of my life(50yrs.) Remodeling is my passion and I stay up to date with design trends as well as the local building codes and regulations. I also keep in close contact with several contractors in the Bedford and Bloomington area to relate ideas and experiences.
